how do I activate offline mode on my Samsung?

In many countries, you're required by law to turn off the phone while on board an aircraft. One way to turn off the phone function is to switch your phone to Airplane/Flight mode. When you enable Airplane mode, all wireless radios on your phone are turned off; including the phone function, Bluetooth, and Wi-Fi.
enabling or disabling Airplane/Flight mode 
  • press the Menu key, and then tap Settings
  • select Wireless controls/Wireless & networks
  • select the Airplane/Flight mode check box to enable or disable Airplane mode. When enabled, the Airplane mode icon will display in the status bar.
Note: when you disable Airplane Mode, the phone function is turned back on and the previous state of Bluetooth and Wi-Fi is restored

how do I change the message centre number on my Samsung?

  • in the Message list, press Menu, and then tap Settings to set the text message options
  • tap Message Centre
  • ensure +447973100973 is showing & press OK

how do I activate/deactivate predictive text on my Samsung?

predictive text 
this handset does not have predictive text as it has a Qwerty keypad for text input

how do I perform a master reset on my Samsung?



  • press the Menu key
  • select Settings
  • scroll to and select Privacy
  • scroll to and select  Factory Data Reset
  • select Reset Phone
  • select Erase Everything
Another way you can complete this is by entering the code *2767*3855#

The phone will then restart to complete the reset.

copy contacts from SIM to Phone
  • from the homescreen tap Applications
  • tap Contacts
  • press the Menu key
  • tap Import/Export
  • select import from SIM
  • tap Select all
  • tap Import

first time setup for the B7510 Galaxy Pro


install the SIM card and battery
1. If the device is on, press and hold the power key and select Power off to turn it off.
2. Remove the back cover.
Note: Be careful not to damage your fingernails when you remove the back cover.
3. Insert the SIM card.
● Place the SIM or USIM card into the device with the gold-coloured contacts facing down.
● If you do not insert a SIM or USIM card, you can only use your device’s non-network services and some menus.
4. Insert the battery.
5. Replace the back cover.

1. Open the cover to the multifunction jack on the top of the device.
2. Plug the small end of the travel adapter into the multifunction jack.
Note: Improperly connecting the travel adapter can cause serious damage to the device. Any damage caused by misuse is not covered by the warranty.
3. Plug the large end of the travel adapter into a power outlet.

2. Insert a memory card with the gold-coloured contacts facing down.
3. Replace the back cover.

How to update Samsung Galaxy Pro B7510 (in brief)


Firmware Update Process:


  1. Run Samsung B7510 Galaxy Pro Downloader.
  2. Make sure these options is checked: Auto Reboot - Protect OPS.
  3. Click OPS button and select: BENNETT_v1.0.ops
  4. Click BOOT button and select: APBOOT_B7510xxxxx_CL968357_REV00_user_low_true.tar.md5
  5. Click Phone button and select: MODEM_B7510xxxxx_REV00.tar.md5
  6. Click PDA button and select: CODE_B7510xxxxx_CL968357_REV00_user_low_true.tar.md5
  7. Click CSC button and Select: CSC_B7510Oxxxxx_CL951730_REV00_user_low_true.tar.md5
  8. Put the phone into Download Mode ( Press Q key + Power button ).
  9. Connect USB cable to phone and PC and make sure the program detect it.
  10. Click Start button to begin updating the phone.
  11. Do nothing till all is done and you can see PASS word on the program window.
  12. Do Full reset by this Code *2767*3855#

Hold the “Back” key, then press the “C” key on the QWERTY keyboard, and a capture of current screen is saved in /sdcard/ScreenCapture as a png file.
